✨ Don’t Lose Heart: Staying Anchored in God When Stumbling Blocks Come

(Luke 17:1–2 & Luke 18:1–8)

There are two powerful teachings in the book of Luke that every believer needs to hold close to their heart — especially in the times we are living in. In Luke 17:1–2, Jesus makes something abundantly clear: stumbling blocks will come. Not might come. Not could come. Not possibly come.
They will come.

But He also follows with a strong warning — “Woe to the one through whom they come.” That means the enemy may try, people may try, circumstances may try, but anyone being used as a stumbling block will have to answer to God. You don’t have to fight every battle. You don’t have to clap back. You don’t have to defend your past. God sees everything, and He is the righteous Judge.

And then Jesus immediately follows with another teaching in Luke 18:1–8 — a parable urging us to pray always and not lose heart. These two passages side by side show us something profound:

1. Stumbling blocks are guaranteed.
2. Victory is also guaranteed for the one who refuses to stop praying.

💚 Stumbling Blocks Will Come — But They Cannot Stop You

Jesus never promised a life free from difficulty. He promised victory through the difficulty.

You might face:
• People doubting your walk with Christ
• Family members who don’t understand your growth
• Friends who bring up your past and try to chain you to who you used to be
• Co-parents causing stress
• A spouse who is not aligned spiritually
• A job situation that feels heavy
• A business that feels slow to grow
• A dream that feels delayed

But hear me clearly:
Nothing can stop what God has ordained.

People can talk.
Enemies can plot.
The past can whisper.
Life can shake.

But the Word of God says, “Let every man be a liar and God be true.” (Romans 3:4)

Your future is not in the hands of man. Your destiny is not controlled by your past. Your success is not determined by your circumstances.

Your help comes from the Creator of heaven and earth — the One who sees all things, knows all things, and controls all things.

🙏 Why Prayer Is Your Lifeline

Jesus told the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1–8) for a reason. He wanted us to understand that the believer who continues to pray — no matter what — will see breakthrough.

Prayer keeps your heart soft.
Prayer keeps your faith alive.
Prayer keeps your focus on Christ, not the storm.
Prayer invites Heaven into your situation.

And — listen — your life depends on staying connected to God right now. With the climate of the world shifting so rapidly, we cannot afford spiritual laziness.

Even if it’s just one verse a day.
Even if it’s a 30-second prayer in the bathroom at work.
Even if it’s a whispered “Jesus, help me” before bed.

Stay in the presence of God.
Stay in your Word.
Stay in prayer.
Stay in faith.

This is not the time to retreat — it’s the time to press in.

🔥 Hold On to God’s Promises — No Matter Who Doesn’t Believe

You must hold on to the words God has spoken over your life. Even if:

• Your family doesn’t agree
• Your friends don’t understand
• Your relationship is being tested
• Your coparent is causing chaos
• Your spouse isn’t aligned yet
• Your children are acting out
• Your business seems slow
• Your breakthrough feels delayed

If God said it — it WILL come to pass.

Not one word from God falls to the ground.
Not one promise returns void.
Not one prayer goes unanswered.

He is not a man that He should lie.

💖 Final Encouragement

Your life is covered.
Your purpose is protected.
Your journey is held in God’s hands.

Stumbling blocks may come, but they cannot stop a child of God who prays without fainting. So keep going. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep pushing.

And stay connected to the Only Source who has never failed us —
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

I love you, Kingdom Crew. Stay encouraged. Stay faithful. And stay in His presence. 💚✨
